Since its launch in London in 2004, more than 500 young artists across the UK have collaborated to produce several released albums, an award winning feature film, documentaries, music videos and dozens of live shows and music industry showcases.

Urban Collective is now establishing 501(c)(3) status in the USA and is looking to launch American Urban Collective in 2010 / 2011. Some of the many artist and album success stories to date include:

  • Urban Collective nominated for Best Social Enterprise Serving a Community, New Statesman Edge Upstart Awards 2009

  • London Urban Collective's Inferno awarded Best Narrative Short at The Chicago International Hip Hop Film Festival 2009

  • Jonny "Itch" Fox signed to Island Records imprint Field Recordings with his band The King Blues

  • Lykez supported Method Man / Redman on their recent UK tour

  • Iman won a bursary to attend the British Academy of New Music

  • James Pyke presented TV series Whatever! for UK's Channel 4

  • Divine Akitoye won Youth Opportunity Funds to launch an a cappella training course for young women

  • Terry Coventry secured a role in Paula Crickard's play Devil in Disguise.

The Urban Collective Project welcomes inquiries of interest from partners and investors for pilot launch in the following cities: NYC, Detroit, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and Atlanta. A detailed project proposal and budget is available on request.
